Numero Uno: Pedro Says Casillas Is Spain’s Best Goalkeeper

Pedro is hailing Madrid’s shot stopper, Iker Casillas as the best in Spain, rating him ahead of United’s goalkeeper David de Gea.

I still don’t understand how Casillas who keeps making rookie mistakes is rated higher than De Gea who has been nothing short of exceptional.

Remember De Gea is heavily linked with a move to Madrid, which could see Casillas get sidelined like Valdes. People are calling for De Gea to be number one for La Roja.

And because Pedro is not a man of many words, he had just this to say.

“Iker is a great goalkeeper and for us is the best,” he said. “There is nothing more to say.”
