SEX SCENES From Whitney Houston’s Biopic [PHOTOS]

The Whitney Houston’s Biopic which was Angela Bassett’s directorial debut has received both positive and negative remarks from the general public. The movie which focuses on the life of female music phenomenon, Whitney Houston, chronicles her rise to fame and turbulent relationship with husband Bobby Brown, including their steamy courtship, marriage and the birth of their daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown.

Whitney Houston And it seems fans weren’t too impressed with some aspects of the Whitney Houston biopic either, with hundreds taking to Twitter to criticise the movie’s graphic sex scenes and the portrayal of excessive drug use.
The three extended sex scenes between actress Yaya DaCosta and on-screen love interest Arlen Escarpeta left little to the imagination, with many younger users switching off and complaining the biopic wasn’t family friendly.

WhitneyHouston2 Many felt frustrated that the film was too Bobby-centric, portraying the R&B star as a victim, lured into a drug-fuelled party lifestyle by Whitney. Whitney was played by Yaya Dacosta while Allen Escarpeta played Bobby Brown.
