AFCON 2015: Senegal Beat Ghana 2-1 Through Very Late Goal
Avram Grant’s first match in charge of Ghana did not go quite as planned as Sow was on hand to break Ghanaian hearts in the final minute of a thrilling encounter.Senegal started the match brightly but in the 14th minute, Coudoul brought down Atsu in the box and Ayew gave Ghana, who were without Asamoah Gyan due to an illness the lead from the spot.
Both teams continued to attack and counter attack in the first half. In the second half, both teams t looked threatening but in the 62nd minute, Diouf equalized for Senegal with a thumping header. Ghana started to press for a winner but were clearly missing the finishing of Gyan and they were punished in the 93rd minute after some lovely interplay released Sow in the box and he finished past Brimah to steal the game for Senegal
Senegal’s next clash would be against South Africa while Ghana get ready to battle Algeria
